Sweet Baby Z was born in the spring of 2008... the idea of this baby is actually a few years older. It all started when my mother presented me with a sewing machine as a housewarming gift several years ago. I kind of turned into a fabric junkie... lots of fabrics bought with no idea of what to do with it all! Later, while expecting my first child, I went a bit crazy with all things baby... bedding, blankets, pillows, and anything soft and cuddly. I found I loved using my own creativity to design one-of-a-kind treasures for that baby boy of mine. Soon all of my friends were having babies, and I had something to do with all of that fabric... whip up a special something just for them!

It's always been a dream of mine to have a little "something of my own" that I could use as a creative outlet... perhaps even earn a few bucks. Our family's recent decision for me to stay home with my 2 boys has allowed me the opportunity to pursue this dream by turning my hobby into an actual business. The past several months has been packed with filling orders for friends, family and local customers... now, with the encouragement of loved ones... onto the WORLD WIDE WEB!
